The Jardine Foundation was established in 1982 to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the Jardine Matheson Group. The Foundation aims to support outstanding individuals with the potential to become outstanding citizens that are highly committed to the community . The Jardine Scholarships are annually awarded to students from countries and territories in which the Jardine Matheson Group operates, such as Indonesia, that are admitted to selected colleges in the University of Oxford and University of Cambridge.
